In 2020, we were approached to assist a new small business based in Manchester to launch and market a website for their physiotherapy business.

Dan Turnell Physio (now Elite Performance Physio) had just launched a new website that was in a state of basic optimisation/build and missing a number of key features. There was little or no organic traffic reaching the site.

Our task was to complete the final web build elements of the website, implement a complete onsite optimisation, build a local organic presence, and provide ongoing monthly SEO support to grow organic traffic and deliver consistent web leads.

With our experience in optimising and working with the WordPress web platform, we were able to swiftly complete the final web design elements.

We then proceeded to create and optimise a Google Business Profile to begin establishing a significant online presence for local searches and Google Maps users. This would allow the business to gain new leads from searchers that favour Maps as their preferred search method.

A full onsite SEO plan was created based on keyword research and competitor analysis. This was then implemented with results tracked across Google Analytics (now GA4) and Google Search Console.

These initial optimisations, alongside monthly content improvements and link building efforts, produced exceptional results across both traditional search results and Google Map listings.

Within 12 months, the Dan Turnell website was ranking #1 for 8 of their priority keywords across a number of locations in the Greater Manchester area. The Google Business Profile was appearing in top positions on Google Maps and also generating regular leads.

As a result of our work, the business was generating more leads than they were able to accommodate due to limited resources. At this point, we recommended that their SEO budget be reallocated to other business areas and additional SEO work was no longer required at that time.
